During February I did some work for Manchester based production company Sitcom Soldiers, who specialize in producing music videos.  We filmed promos for Oxford based band Evarose, and indie band Toy Horses.  The promos should be edited in the near future and I’m looking forward to seeing them.

New feature film BEING SOLD This summer has been a combination of swanning off on holiday (Barbados, France & Prague) and working extremely hard on my next film BEING SOLD. BEING SOLD is directed by Phil Hawkins, who I worked with on THE BUTTERFLY TATTOO. Based on an idea by Phil, the screenplay for BEING SOLD was written by the wonderfully talented Aidan Magrath.  I play the ruthlessly...

Ye Olde Cart Shoppe Last week I spent a few days down in South Wales shooting the first in a series of commercials for the company Car Shop.  The ad was shot in Cosmeston Medieval village, which is a very weird and wonderful place, and bizarrely features no cars.  It will all make sense when you see the commercial, which should be screened from June.  Some proper stills will be added to the...

Afternoon play for BBC radio 4 After returning from the short film shoot (literally off the train and into the audition room) I went over to BBC Manchester for a somewhat epic audition (two six minute monologues!).  I met with radio drama producer Gary Brown and the meeting must have been a success as I was invited to play the role of Rebecca in an Episode of BRIEF LIVES for BBC radio 4.  We...
